    Antique English Brass Drafting Tool Set (10 pieces) in Original Wood Box from NY – VGC
    Neat provenance - I was informed by a relative/family member from the estate that the piece originally belonged to S.E. Spoor who served in the 123
    rd
    Regiment NY Volunteer Infantry (1865).  I believe the box/tool set is English, possibly
    Bates Brass of Birmingham or Harling of London.  All brass pieces & rulers (one ebony) are intact/fully functional.  Nice old wood box with brass plaque inlay, removable inner tray reveals lower section.  Side of lifting section is missing end piece, original (faded) red velvet lining, hinge-closure.
