Description
Antique picture book “The Camera In the Southwest” in good condition for its age. It was published by Frank S. Thayer, Denver, Colorado. This is a first edition published in 1902. The stiff card stock burgundy cover is string tied. The front cover has a painter’s palette with raised lettering and its color has faded. The back cover retains its deep burgundy color. The photographs show various sites, buildings, people and nature found in several southwest states that were reachable by traveling on the Great Santa Fe Railroad. The pictures in the book show no signs of fading. No rips, tears or writing in the book. There is a water stain in the lower left corner that fades with each page and does not affect the quality of the pictures. The book contains 24 pages of black & white photos and measures ~ 10" by 13". Please see photos for details of condition and email with any questions.
