Vintage Bakelite & Brass Sailing / Sailboat Trophy Yacht Club Interesting Piece

Description

This is an interesting piece, an 11" tall sailing or yachting trophy.  The main body is made of bakelite plastic and the boat and trim is metal (brass, I believe).  The plate/
placard from the front is missing, so I'm not sure what the piece was awarded for.  It's still very cool and perfect for anyone collecting sailing items.  Please check out the pics and let me know if you have any questions
