Vintage George W Shiebler Sterling Silver Ruler

Description

Up for sale is this antique George W Shiebler sterling silver ruler.  The face of the ruler has a raised scrolling design.  The ruler is etched on the other side.  It is marked with the winged "s" logo and the name of the retailer Howard & Co.  Sterling and # 2557 are listed below the makers mark.  The ruler measures up to 9".  There is a slight bend at the end of the ruler.  I have cleaned and lightly polished the ruler but it needs a better polishing as the silver on the flat part of the ruler has a mottled
appearance
.  The ruler weighs 4.2 ounces on a jewelers scale.  Please see the pictures for condition.
