LOIS & CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN
, based upon characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. It is from
Season 1, Episode 20
, which was entitled
Barbarians at the Planet
, in which
Lex Luthor (John Shea) proposes to a surprised Lois (Teri Hatcher). This, in turn, also prompts Clark (Dean Cain) to confess his love for her. Lois, on the other hand, confronts Superman about her love for him. Someone detonates a bomb at the Daily Planet, forcing the paper to its knees, Perry White (Lane Smith) to early retirement, Jimmy Olsen (Michael Landes) to unemployment, Jack (Chris Demetral) to jail, and Lois into the arms of Lex Luthor.
Written by Dan Levine and Deborah Joy LeVine, this Production Draft copy script is dated February 15, 1994 and went through five revisions through March 7, 1994. It consists of four acts in 55 pages on white stock (the original script features the revisions on various color pages) which were 3-hole punched and bound with two brass brads without any outer covers. This copy script is complete in overall very fine- condition with two diagonal creases on the bottom right corner of the title page with signs of wear around the brads; a small tear with a 2 in. crease below it on the right edge of page 54; and several creases of varying sizes on the top right corner of the last page (55). There are no handwritten notations present within.
